Fly Rods

Sage rods, reels and REO fly lines are our choice as PRO GUIDES
When fishing southern lakes and rivers best results are obtained with a 9 to 9 foot 6 inch 5/6 weight rod and a weight forward 5/6 floating line in dull colors, excellent for dry fly and nymph fishing.
A sinking tip line is productive around river mouths when used with streamer patterns. Fly's for good casting, rods and reels should be well balanced with backing capacity of at least 70 yards, these fish can fight.

Leaders

Standard tapered 10/14 foot sizing down to 5x6 tippet flouroflex mono line on spools of 3x to 6x are great to lengthen in your leader and is transparent to trout.
